These past 2 years we delivered three vessels and have five more under construction, eight complete newbuilds in total, with 10+ more already in the pipeline. From multi purpose vessels to an inland container vessel, each one custom built to the standard our clients count on.

First deliveries in 2025, next hulls running through 2028, and we are only getting started.

The first of four vessels is afloat. DQS01 has been launched at PVSM Shipyard, Vietnam, a proud milestone for the entire team.

With the hull now afloat, outfitting has started on this beautifully designed vessel.

For now, she stays wrapped under her covers, ready to impress at the final stage.

While the maritime industry is accelerating towards lower emissions and higher efficiency, a large part of the smaller tanker fleet is ageing rapidly. Many vessels currently operating in this segment were designed long before today’s energy transition and upcoming environmental regulations.

We are proud to announce that we have signed a contract for the construction of the Mareva Nui II, a multi-purpose vessel that will serve the waters of French Polynesia.

The vessel will be built by Handelskade at Hong Ha Shipyard in Hai Phong, Vietnam. A yard we know well, having built 12 turn-key vessels together over the past fifteen years.
It was great to reconnect with our long-standing partners, and we are looking forward to working together again on this exciting project.

Over the past years, we have built up expertise across multiple disciplines within the maritime industry.

What started as separate entities is now brought together under one clear structure, allowing us to operate more efficiently, communicate more clearly, and serve our partners with a stronger and more consistent presence worldwide.

Jesse will focus on further developing and managing our procurement activities. With a strong focus on sourcing, supplier relations and cost efficiency, he will play a key role in strengthening our purchasing processes and network

Last week, the vessel completed its official trial run, with all tests successfully concluded. Operating with 3 barges and a total cargo of 7,000 tons, the convoy showcased its powerful diesel-electric propulsion system (2 × 960 kW Oswald) supported by 5 DAF-Paccar diesel generating sets and 840 kWh of batteries.

Over the past few days we unloaded 6 trailers and loaded 4 containers with equipment for Handelskade’s newbuild project.
These containers are already on their way to Vietnam, where four new vessels are currently under construction.

Our new warehouse is steadily filling up and the workflow is running smoothly.
It is nice to see how quickly the space is being put to full use.

It has been an exciting month for us at Handelskade!

We kicked off the first week of November with a company-wide achievement: every team member successfully obtained their forklift certificate.
From finance to management, everyone is now certified to safely load and unload the goods handled in our warehouse.
It was a great team effort and one that reflects our hands-on mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
